It was a huuuuuge lot of work, but we made it - and we´re proud to announce that our website, our logo - simply everything has been relaunched.
So the bad weather in Mai/June had some good - we couldn´t shoot, but at least we could work a little every now and then on the new sites.
We also reworked our Model Concept. While we have been looking for everyday people and offering them photoshoots as a countertrade for modelling to increase the size of our portfolios at stock agencies, the counter value of the models too often didn´t meet ours. We will now start to look actively for models out on the street and won´t take any applications online anymore.

...the new website for our continuously growing videosector.
For quite some time now the videosector has outgrown this website and it was about time to finally start with a new site. We used the opportunity to relaunch our Corporate Design - new logos, new prints, new everything. Some of you have already noticed the new watermark on the images next to the blogposts. Well observed - amriphoto new is under construction now for quite some time and will be relaunched in a few days. We just didn´t think that the old sitedesign and logo could keep up with our style of shooting.
If you think about videoproductions, footage, webvideos, corporate videos, companyvideos, videos, videos, videos,... in the future, you´ll be perfectly served by Amrivideo. (Sorry for all the "Videos", but searchengines prefer links from sites that deal with the matter of the linked site - you guessed it perhaps ;-))

Amriphoto now exclusive

It was a long and hard decision, but many arguments were pro exclusivity, and so we took that big step and now exclusively present our content with the Getty Images Group.
We hope the group delivers what it promises and we on the other hand can keep up our current motivation for producing new content for a long, long time.
Here we stand entering a new stage in our photography carreer.
we are doing a beach model casting for children for a job on the Maldives - sorry, only Austrian entries!

After doing quite some videoproductions lately, and also currently working on two, it was about time to produce our very own leader for videoproductions.
Other than that there isn´t a lot of news - there´s simply too much work with these two videos. I can´t say I hope it´s going to change soon ;-).
Anyway - perhaps a little advice for wedding couples. The free weekends in summer are steadily decreasing, so if you´d like to have us shooting your wedding, you´d better hurry up.

What will 2010 bring?

For some time now we are training our Motion Graphic skills.
Since our video and footage division is gaining more and more importance we want to offer complete packages from 2010, including all the graphics needed for great looking video productions. Having been designers before we stepped into photography and video, that is just a logical step. For 2010 we want to emphasise this part of Amriphoto. A current example shows the video to the left.
Therefore we plan to split the website in two or three parts and extract video and motion graphics from the photosite. Let´s see if we find the time.
A studio?
For about two years we are looking for the perfect studio, but since our current capacities are now at it´s limit, we will have to use even more time for the search than we did in previous years. Still we keep choosey - better having some patience than working in a suboptimal environment for the rest of our career.

House advertising
Impossible - so many blogposts, and I forgot to advertise one of our own products - I hope the millions of readers out there will ever apologize.
For all the wedding couples beyond our readers - or for those who need a wedding present: what about one of our wedding websites? - really great ones with blog and other features. Besides they even look good (you sure have seen all the other wedding websites out there ;-))
For wedding couples that choose us as photographers, this service is free - but all others are most welcome to book it extra. We have special discounts for registered blog users.
The special things are the domains: www.habengeheiratet.at und www.werdenheiraten.at (translated that would mean: aremarried.at and aregoingtomarry.at) Before the wedding you can announce your wedding at e.g. meandyou.werdenheiraten.at, publish wedding list, directions and stuff - after the wedding meandyou.habengeheiratet.at will host your wedding photo album..
Both sites are very modern websites with Content Management System.
Conclusion: couples who book a wedding with us don´t only get great images, but also a wedding website!!!
